Hello everyone,
December is here! The temperatures are in the mid 70’s for the first week, and there is NO CHANCE OF SNOW!! I say that because where I come from the temperatures are in the signal digits with a chance of snow everyday. (not to mention that they have 30”+ on the ground right now). This is the time of year that we all come together as one big family and help those who are less fortunate to have the essentials that is needed throughout the holiday season. But because of the Panama City Moose Lodge and everyone that has supported our toy drive and food drive we have help several hundred families over the past 4-5 years. Let’s keep that tradition going for us. December 13th is our annual Toy/Food Drive Party. Yes, the Marilyn will be cooking again this year and all that is asked of you is that you bring a $10 TOY or donate $10 per Person. There will be food, music by DJ Victor, and great fellowship. We will start at 6pm. This is an opportunity to bring a friend or a family member that is not a member and show them what we do in our local community!
The whole month of December, Moose International will be giving back the $20 Application fee. That money will goes towards a charity that we choose. This is another way to show new members that we give back to the community. The first $20 that the new member pays will goes towards the good of someone or something right away. Let’s get new members in show them just what we do for Mooseheart, Moosehaven, & within our own community.
I wish that each and everyone of you that reads the newsletter a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
