It is that time of year again, elections. If you would like to be part of the Board this upcoming year please fill out a ballot that is located on the bulletin board by the front door. Just keep in mind that if you plan on running for a position, it is from May 1st, 2014 TO May 1st, 2015. You must attend meetings every month and most importantly, be a leader of the lodge.
We are still working hard on membership. Good job to everyone that has sponsored new members and have received free dues for the following year. For everyone that has sponsored a member starting February 1st, make sure that you check the Moose International website, www.mooseintl.org, to see if you have won some money. If your name is picked, you will have only 24 hours to call and claim your prize. Winners are posted Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Check the flyers in this issue for more ways to win prizes by signing up members.
Thank you to everyone that came out to the Super Bowl Party last month. Thank you to everyone that VOLUNTEERED their time so make it a success!! I would also like to thank everyone that helped out for the Valentines Dance. By far that seems to be one of the best Valentines Dances that we had in a long time.
All the new members we are working on a new orientation program in the near future. We will let everyone know when it will be. If you are invited we encourage you to attend. It will be a fun night just for all the new members.
Again, THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS STEPPED UP IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS, to make this lodge a better place. It really does mean a lot to those who are hear all the time. Please continue to volunteer and we all can make a difference.
