Hello everyone,
Well it’s November already! That means it is the start of the Holiday Season. The next few months are going to be a busy but FUN time for the lodge. If you can volunteer for a function please let an officer know that you are willing to help out. Just some of the activities that are scheduled are; St. Andrews Bay Center Halloween Party in Nov. 7th, College of Regents Ceremony on the 16th , Nov. 22nd Moose Legion Fish Fry for Will Gilbert, Thanksgiving dinner Saturday Nov. 22nd, Kids Christmas Party Dec 6th from 11 -1, Dec. 12th is the St. Andrews Christmas Party, Dec 13th is the Toy Drive Party (Food & DJ see flyer) Dec 31st Moose Legion hosting the New Years Eve Party. Along with the Friday night dinners, we have a lot going on. Any help will be appreciated for any of these events.
November 1st is the Counsel of Higher Degree Holiday party in Ft. Walton, along with the District 15 meeting (11am). If you are a member of the Counsel of Higher Degree come over to Ft. Walton and celebrate all day with other members. There will be a rib cook off going on all day. Panama City is the retaining champion from last year and I know that we will take home the top honors again!! If you are interested FBMA is having their chili cook off next week at Moosehaven. There will be teams from all over the area plus a team from Oregon coming to compete.
Lastly, let’s keep working on our membership. Sign up new members, get the word out about the Moose Fraternity. Also, please keep up on your dues. If you don’t know when your dues expire, look on your card or come see me. I hope that everyone has a safe & happy Holiday Season. See you soon
